Tarzan and The Phantom first met on this blog back in 2012, on a very early MS Paint cover... I figured it was high time that I put them together again - especially if it means that I get to combine my two favorite comic book artists - Jim Aparo and Joe Kubert.

The Kings of their respective Jungles vs. the Forward-facing Gun Guy. Will the FGG never learn? Great pairing, Ross! In terms of both the characters and artists.
Interesting to see what plan they had worked out for these kinds of problems...
How come the Forward Gun Guys don't have a search link?
Because I don't feel like combing through 5500 posts to find out where they appear and edit them.
@Anon128: LOL! I don't know about you. But, that sounds like a pretty legitimate reason to me.
@Ross: providing you have enough image captures of both, to work with, would you be able to depict a team-up between the Defenders of Earth (Mandrake, the Phantom, and Flash Gordon) and Zen the Intergalactic Ninja? After all, given the space opera angle and the similarity in coloration between the Phantom's costume and Zen's epidermis, it seems like a natural for depiction!
