These two are cut from a similar cloth. They definitely have the same taste in boots. I can see them working well together if some kind of time-storm threw them into the same adventure.

I'm first in line for once? Yay, me!
First off, let me just say that I dig the title. :-)
Secondly; these two might be initially reluctant to work together, given their different ethical upbringings. But, over the course of working together, they would gradually develop mutual grudging respect, I'm sure.
Last, but not least? I could see Doc being brought to the GFFA as the result of testing some early Cold War-era spacecraft for NASA. What with his being a literal rocket scientist (among other things). And, if I recall correctly, DC's version of him even had him meeting some extra-dimensionals prior to meeting his own grandson!
How about finding a way to have the Shadow confront Darth Vader?
If these two are cut from the same cloth, then I really hope that it's not the same cloth that was used to make Doc's shirt. He seems to be one of those guys, like Captain Kirk and Wolverine, who just can't keep nice things above the waist.
As for Han, we've seen him teamed up with Indiana Jones, but what if you were to throw Red Hulk into that mix? (Throw in Rick Deckard and Jack Ryan at your own discretion.)
@Bob Greenwade: You say you want gratuitous male northern exposure? Tel you waht I'm gonna do. I'm gonna recommend "Planet of the Amazon Women." The Season 1 episode of BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY (starring the late, great Gil Gerard) where the title character is abducted and sold at auction to a matriarchal planet of love-lorn ladies. In front of everyone of whom he's paraded, by the villainous Jay Robinson, with a torn T-shirt showing off his masculine musculature!
you want ta give the Doc a 'Han'?? Oh, that is so generous!! no 'chewy' toys here!
How about this (admittedly somewhat) convoluted route? The Phantom--who met the Shadow in STF #2558 (2/24/2019)--needs help finding fellow Defender of the Earth Flash Gordon. Knowing that he and Gordon have a mutual acquaintance (see STF #918 @ 10/18/2014 and STF #1334 @ 12/8/2015), the Shadow goes to see Jay Garrick aka the Golden Age Flash. Asking him for an introduction to Johnny Thunder and his genie-like pal Thunderbolt (see STF #3550 @ 1/1/2022). Because T-bolt's magic is the only way The Shadow can get to a certain galaxy far, far away! Gordon still being marooned there as a result of being hunted by Darth Vader for information on the whereabouts of his son and Gordon's fellow Space-Time Five member. Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, respectively (see STF #1595 @ 8/25/2016 and STF #2930 @ 4/21/2020) !
I'd rather see John Wick vs. Boba Fett (and/or the Mandalorian).
Really? But, we charge "Solo" a price! :-(
That is convoluted, but I like it.
GROAN!!!!!
