The Flash Vs. The Red Skull

I'm not sure what type of mystical shenanigans that the Red Skull has gotten into to give him the edge over two Flashes, but it would be interesting to find out.  And then, it would be entertaining to watch Jay and Barry give him his comeuppance.

Aqualad and Iron Man

An oddball pairing here but this was a case in which I noticed that I had a couple of images that seemed to go together well.  I can definitely see a story that mixes both Manhunter and Stark Tech.  Garth doesn't get enough respect, especially these days, and it would be nice to see him take center stage again.

The Thing and Wildfire

We've all been waiting patiently for actual casting news (not just rumors of the week) for Marvel's Fantastic Four movie, and it finally seems like that is imminent as Director Matt Shakman needs to begin filming soon.  The next big wait will begin then - to find out what The Thing will look like.  I imagine that will be one of the final reveals before a trailer is released so it will probably be at least another year before we get that information.  They can take their time, I just want them to get it right, he's easily my favorite Marvel character.

The Defenders Vs. Darkseid

I still think it is a bit odd that Netflix is using The Defenders as the title of the series which combines Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, when Heroes for Hire seems to be a much more appropriate title. Not only that, it lessens the chance that we will see an actual live action Defenders show or film featuring the classic cast featured in the cover above.  I loved that non-team growing up and have been waiting to see it featured in a cartoon or movie.  It's funny, the closest we have gotten is when Justice League Unlimited presented a pseudo-Defenders team made up of Aquaman, Solomon Grundy, Dr. Fate and Amazo on "Wake the Dead", a great episode.

The Wasp and Insect Queen

Like many readers I always kind of preferred Lana Lang over Lois Lane as a love interest for Superman.  Maybe it was because she treated him nice even when he was in his Clark Kent guise, whereas Lois could often be cruel and dismissive.  I'm not sure how much she has to do with the Supermine line of comics these days, now that his time as Superboy has been written out of continuity.
