Orion and Princess Leia

Space-faring freedom fighters with dads that want to conquer the galaxy?  Yup, these two have plenty in common.  I think there would be a ton of story potential in putting them together.

Darth Vader and Darkseid first encountered each other in STF # 2184, and then again in STF #2343 and are both members of The Overlords, as seen in STF #2490...

Adam Strange Vs. Darth Vader

Apparently Adam Strange was the star of a DC Showcase animated short released earlier this year.  I'm not sure which main feature it was attached to, but I am going to have to seek it out.  I have seen a few clips from it shown on Youtube, and it looks pretty good.  Previous versions of Adam Strange in animation have been fun but somewhat light hearted.  This looks like a serious straight adaptation and I look forward to seeing the complete version.

This is only part One of a Two-Part epic, so make sure you come back tomorrow for the exciting conclusion!

Green Lantern and The Black Panther

Looking at the latest trailer and posters for Avengers: The Age of Ultron, I can't help but have the usual nitpick:  Captain America and Iron Man seem to spend a lot of time with their helmets ripped off (Thor didn't even bring his).  As much as I am looking forward to The Black Panther's eventual inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I'm already wondering how much of him we will see in full costume, considering the actor-concealing face-mask.  At least John Stewart wont have that worry if he is included in Justice League.  Just make his eyes glow when he uses his ring and I'll be happy!

Mr. Spock and Barbarella

Sure, we all know about Captain Kirk's weakness for the ladies, but what about Spock?  Vulcans aren't ones to brag, so I am sure he would keep any such dalliances to himself.  The new Trek movies have Spock in a relationship with Uhura, and I don't  really get that.  Sure, the timeline has changed and the two met earlier than they supposedly did in the classic TV series - but they are still supposed to be the same people.  Wouldn't there have been some sign of an attraction before?

Galactus and Darth Vader

Besides The Emperor, there aren't many characters out there that Darth Vader would willingly be a subordinate to.  I think Galactus might be an exception, though.  The lure of the power cosmic could be just enough to convince him to form an alliance.  It would be fun to watch the universe tremble at the coming of this tag-team!
