Wolverine and Katana

There has been talk of a "David Ayer Cut" of the first Suicide Squad film, since much of his original vision was left on the cutting room floor.  Most are curious about the extra scenes featuring The Joker that we saw in promotional materials for the film, but never made it to the final product.  I'm most curious about whether there is more footage of Katana.  She looked great in the movie, but barely got to do anything or be fleshed out as a character.  I'd like to think that she was written with more depth than what we saw in the theatrical cut of the movie.

Daredevil Vs. Predator

This could be a pretty interesting match-up.  Predators are great hunters but they rely a lot on stealth, which would not be nearly as effective as it usually is, given Daredevil's enhanced senses.  The question is whether a billy club and acrobatics can match up against the strength and weapons of a Predator.

Wonder Woman and Captain America in: "Anniversary With Ares!"

I was glad to see Themyscira and the Amazons appear in the Justice League trailer.  The Paradise Island scenes were some of my favorite from Wonder Woman and it's cool that we will not have to wait for the sequel to see a little more of that world.

This marks the sweet sixteenth appearance of the WW/Cap team...

Daredevil and Batman in: "Gotham's Most Wanted!"

Batman and Daredevil have a bit of history on the blog - they shared Golden Age adventures together in STF #1584 as well as on an early B&B Cover... and their first meeting was in even earlier MS Paint B&B meeting... More recently, they were ambushed by the Owls in STF #1114...

Sgt. Rock and The Rocketeer (Part Two)

I was always disappointed that The Rocketeer was not a hit upon its original theatrical release.  Not only is it still one of the best comic adaptations which still holds up decades later, it had one of the greatest movie posters out there.  The art deco style image that they used was very striking and I thought it served as a great introduction to the characters for mainstream audiences unaware of Dave Stevens' amazing comics. I remember looking around for a poster version at the time.
