Jack O'Lantern and Union Jack

Two full-masked heroes from across the pond, both named Jack?  I'm surprised it took me so long to get them together.  Neither of them have made all that many appearances over the years, but I have always enjoyed when they have been featured.

Green Arrow and Devil Dinosaur

While this final season of The Flash has been lacking for me, I did enjoy the return of Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen for an episode.  It reminded me of the early days of the series as well as Arrow, which were pretty good.  James Gunn says he is a huge fan of Green Arrow, so I am interested to see where the hero will show up next in live action.

Power Girl and Power Man (Vs. The Enchantress!)

As we reach the mid-point of this Five-Part Epic, We see that The Enchantress is not done with her heartbreaking ways, and that makes for an unlucky thirteenth appearance of The Power Couple on this blog. We finally have a hint of a motive, however - what's this about her true love?  Make sure to come back tomorrow for the next chapter in this saga...

Ghost Rider and The Phantom Stranger in: "Stay of Execution!"

Ghost Rider came to The Phantom Stranger's rescue in STF #3540, and  now it's time for that favor to be returned.  There's something very cool about the Stranger's design. On half of his cover appearances, all that is shown of him is his shadow/silhouette - and it still always makes for a striking image.  I hope that's an effect that can be translated to live action if the character is ever brought to the big screen.

Tigra and Cat-Man (Part 7 of 7)

Presenting the conclusion to our week-long tale.  It looks like Tigra and Cat-Man have finally gotten out from under The Ringmaster's control - but there's still no love lost between them.  Even kibitzing from all of our previous guest stars will not be enough to bring about a reconciliation.  I hope you enjoyed this multi-part tale, I have some ideas for more that may appear on the blog in the future.

Ghost Rider and The Phantom Stranger

With Blade on the way, Agatha Harkness set for a spin-off series and Werewolf by Night rumored to show up in Moon Knight, Marvel seems ready to get the supernatural side of the MCU into swing.  Can it be long before Ghost Rider makes an appearance in some form or other?  I can see Marvel watching DC planning a cinematic Justice League Dark and wanting to beat them to the punch with a supernatural team of their own.  Bring on Gargoyle, Man-Thing, Son of Satan and Jennifer Kale.

Gargoyles and Gargoyle

I avoided Disney's animated Gargoyles series when it first came out, thinking it was meant for very young viewers.  After hearing plenty of positive reviews, I gave the series a shot in reruns and I am glad that I did.  I liked all of the characters and the continuity between episodes made for and engaging saga.
