Jessica Drew has become entangled in mysteries regarding her origins before. Perhaps The Shadow could help her uncover some long-hidden truths.

Spiders and flies may not usually work well together, but these two may be an exception. I do think that their costumes look pretty good side by side.
Spider-Woman and Batgirl met previously in STF #3879, but I thought it would be cool to see them in an animated adventure as well. Who better to face off against them than STF's own Mr. Universe, making his 5th appearance.
I mainly like seeing these two together because they have a couple of my favorite costumes. I think there could be an interesting story involving them both, though. It might be a strained working relationship, but it would be fun to watch play out.
Madame Web seems to have briefly brought the world together in that everyone who has seen it universally has declared it to be an awful movie. Apparently the Spider-Women of the movie only appear in costume for a vision of the future late in the film that only last a couple of minutes and the rest of the run time is filled with disjointed scenes and laughable dialogue. Maybe Sony Picture would have been better served by featuring a trio of bug-based heroes like the ones on the cover above?
I've been hoping to see a live action Spider-Woman for years. I thought that the upcoming Madame Web movie might fulfill that wish. The first trailer for the Sony movie has dropped, and there are no shortage of spider-powered women in there. I'm nor sure if any of them are Jessica Drew, though. I guess we'll have to keep on waiting.
Supergirl and Spider-Woman are about to hit the big screen, although as variants in each case. Issa Rae will be voicing Spider-Woman Jessica Drew from another universe in Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, and then a couple of weeks later Sasha Calle will star as an other dimensional Supergirl in The Flash. From what I have seen, both look to be impressive. Still, I hope we will get to see the versions we know from the comics in the theaters at some point down the line.
Supergirl and Spider-Woman previously met trying to avoid becoming super-villain brides in STF #2555...
I spider-Woman the first Super-Heroine to ever get her own animated TV series? I think she just may be, and it's more impressive that it came out only a couple of years after her comic book debut. It's still odd to me that Wonder Woman has never had her own cartoon.
These two may have to do a little more than search the city. Regular visitors to this blog know that Jim Gordon was called to the planet Mongo in STF #2535...
Sony really wants to explore its roster of Spider-Man related characters. We've seen two Venom movies plus Morbius, and now Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web are in production. The obvious question that comes to mind is - where is word of a Spider-Woman movie? I'd think she would get the nod before more solo villain stories.
Now that the Disney+ Secret Invasion series is picking up steam with the recent castings of Emilia Clarke and Olivia Coleman, there has been speculation as to whether Spider-Woman will be joining the MCU. A big reveal in the comics series was when Jessica Drew was revealed to be a Skrull in disguise. I'm betting that Kevin Feige will not want to use the same hero as the comics did for that moment though. Also, I'm not sure if Spider-Woman is considered a Sony character that would have to be shared with Disney the way Spider-Man is.
Always happy to feature the amazing art of JL Garcia Lopez on this blog. This Robin is from JLGL's DC Comics Presents run. I was very lucky to get a page from the issue of that series he did featuring Deadman, it's a favorite of mine:
