It Girl and Hawkgirl
Kendra Saunders has already been introduced on The Flash, and It looks like we will be seeing Hawkgirl showing up soon. The Arrow / Flash crossover has had photos released revealing Hawkgirl and Hawkman suited up and ready for battle. I hope they get the wings and flying sequences right, because there is a ton of potential to be had with those characters. I look forward to seeing them really explored on the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow.

The Atomics and The Super-Friends
It just occurred to me that the heroes we ill be seeing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice are the same core line up from The Super Friends. Well, Aquaman is supposedly only a cameo and Robin appears to be dead, but still. that fact certainly underscores how dark and moody the film looks - in stark contrast to the brightly colored heroes we grew up watching. I still hold out hope that the film has some true rays of hope and light by the end and what we have seen thus far is the dark before the dawn.

It Girl and Power Girl
I have written before about how much I love Mike Allred's artwork. His clean, expressive style is always filled with interesting designs and body types. I can tell he really has fun with the breakout star of The Atomics, It Girl. Her ability to mimic the properties of anything she touches really allows Allred to get visually creative. Ramona Fradon is one of the greatest underestimated artists that the industry has seen, in my eyes. Take a look at her work on Aquaman or Metamorpho and you will see that she has many of the same artistic sensibilities that make modern illustrators like Allred so appealing. It's even more impressive when you consider how male dominated the industry was back when she broke into the scene.
