Wonder Woman Vs. Taskmaster

Taskmaster is a favorite Marvel villain of mine.  It's too bad that the interpretation of the character was somewhat off in Black Widow.  Marvel will get another chance when the villain appears in Thunderbolts*.  Let's hope this second outing is a bit more effective.

Sabretooth Vs. Deathstroke

This is a villain match up that I have been meaning to get to for a while now.  Both are highly skilled combatants with healing factors.  Sabretooth may heal even faster than Slade, but Slade has the edge as far as knowledge of different fighting techniques go.  Who do you think would come out on top?

The Baroness Vs. Black Widow

The one thing that that bothers me about the death of The Black Widow in the MCU is that it eliminates one team up I had been hoping to see.  Now that Daredevil is in the fold and getting his owns series on Disney+, I was really hoping we would see some action with DD and the Widow side by side.  I loved the era in the comics when she was Daredevil's partner, and even shared logo space on the cover.  It would have been great to seen an episode of Daredevil: Born Again pay homage to those classic tales.

Spider-Woman and Black Canary

Sony really wants to explore its roster of Spider-Man related characters.  We've seen two Venom movies plus Morbius, and now Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web are in production.  The obvious question that comes to mind is - where is word of a Spider-Woman movie?  I'd think she would get the nod before more solo villain stories.

Bronze Tiger and Shang-Chi

I think that the Suicide Squad movies both missed an opportunity by not putting The Bronze Tiger on the team.  The Suicide Squad comic was where I really got to know Ben Turner as a character and it would have been great to have seen him brought to the big screen.  I don't know if there will be a third movie, but with Rick Flag out of the picture, the cinematic Squad could use a character like The Bronze Tiger to act as a moral compass.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Morbius

Buffy first encountered Morbius in STF #387, but it looks like this time they are on the same side. The Morbius movie has been delayed once again.  It's becoming a situation like New Mutants, where the film's release has been pushed back so much that audiences are either forgetting about it or questioning its quality.  I actually thought New Mutants was OK when it was finally available to view, so I will hold out some hope for Morbius.

Tank Girl and Harley Quinn

Now that I put these two together, I wonder why I hadn't considered the pairing before.  They really do seem to be cut from the same cloth.  I was not a fan of Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey, but I am looking forward to Margot Robbie's third outing in the role in The Suicide Squad.  What little has been shown looks to be a little closer to the comics version than we have seen thus far.

Blue Devil Vs. Mojo

This seems like it would be a natural match up.  Mojo is all about getting ratings and finding the next big star.  Dan Cassidy has been known to hastily enter into bargains with shady characters to further his career in Hollywood - indeed, that's how he became The Blue Devil in the first place.  It would be an interesting clash, and a fun one as well.

Daredevil Vs. Doctor Light

Presenting Part Two of  our latest Two-Part Epic!  Did you guess correctly?  Daredevil was the only one not affected by the visuals of Doctor Light's attack on yesterday's cover (except maybe by almost being crushed by the falling bodies of his fellow heroes), let's see if the villain can adjust for this miscalculation in his plans...

Hawk & Dove and Power Man & Iron Fist in: The Purple Man's Final Push!"

I remember first reading about The Purple Man in Marvel Team-Up #4, and thinking that he had a pretty scary skill set.  Brian Michael Bendis really took those abilities down a dark path when he used the villain in Alias.  While I wish he had the purple skin from the comics, I loved David Tennant's take on the character on the Jessica Jones Netflix series.

These two teams first crossed paths in STF #602...
