When we last saw Plastic Man on this blog, he was training Ms. Marvel in STF #4598. I thought that he might go for a little training himself. Who better to teach him than the Master of Kung Fu himself.

Elongated Man and Red Tornado were two members of the JLA that were never granted their own solo ongoing series, but that only made me seek out comics in which they did appear even more. I would have loved to have seen them on the forefront of a great team up battle like the one on this cover.

Turtles may have a reputation for being slow, but I would say that all that are pictured here buck that trend. Between the super speed, martial arts action and a kaiju menace, there would be more than enough fast paced excitement in this issue.
