Perhaps I am tempting fate by giving He Who Must Not Be Named cover billing, but these are the chances one has to take.  Let's hope that Doctor Fate will be able to thwart his plans!

Hyperion Vs. Black Adam

 

Battles between Superman and Captain Marvel have always been entertaining, so I figured that a clash between a pair of their dark reflections would be fun to see as well. If anything it would be even more brutal - but who would come out as the victor?

Justice League of America Vs. Apocalypse (Round 2)

 

That is a pretty formidable line up of Horsemen, even for Apocalypse.  Let's hope that the element of surprise is enough to help J'onn J'onzz turn the tide - at least until reinforcements arrive.  The JLA first face Apocalypse in STF #1664...

Vixen and Hercules in: "Stone Love!"

 

For this, the 12th appearance of Hercules and Vixen together, it looks as though they have run afoul of The Grey Gargoyle.  That guy used to really creep me out when I was a kid.  Being turned to stone seemed like a fate worse than death.  At least it was eventually reversible, unlike the same effect from the Greek god Medusa.

Blue Devil, Doctor Strange and Clea

 

I enjoyed Nathan Fillion's small role in Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3., and I know that James Gunn likes to work with his acting friends  - so I fully expect him to show up somewhere in the new DCU line up as well.  I think that Blue Devil would be a great character for Fillion to play.  His combination of physicality, heroics and humor could turn the C-List hero into a fan favorite.

Blue Devil first met Dr. Strange in STF #46 and then battled Mephisto with him in STF #3051...

Hercules and Vixen (Vs. The Enchantress!)

 

Presenting Part One of a Five-Part Epic!  Will this, the 9th appearance of the Herc/Vixen Romance, spell the end for these STF lovebirds?  After all the time it took for them to get together, too!  Where will this tale go from here?  Make sure to come back tomorrow for the next heartbreaking chapter!

Pet Avengers and Vixen

I've been trying to figure out what super power my cat Ace has.  He does have a secret Identity - Alarm Clock Cat - for when he decides to wake me at 4:15 am each morning, but I'm not sure that has to do with any special abilities.  He may have the power of invisibility - even in my tiny house there are times when I simply cannot find him, until he decides to just stroll in from nowhere.  The amount of fur he sheds also seems to indicate perhaps a mutant gene.

 

Vixen Vs. Sabretooth

 

This would be an interesting match up.  The animal kingdom infused power of the Tantu Totem versus a brute with rapid healing would equal some pretty cool action.  Not a lot of heroes can match Creed's savagery, but depending on what animal Vixen tapped into, she could get close.

Wildcat Vs. The Champion

One of my all-time favorite comics is Marvel Two-In-One Annual #7, which introduced The competition based Elder of the Universe, The Champion.  He took on all of the heavy hitters in the Marvel Universe and the result was in my opinion the best Ben Grimm comic ever printed.  I thought it might be fun to have The Champion face off against DC's premiere boxer/hero.  Like The Thing, Wildcat just doesn't know how to quit, even if the odds against him are overwhelming.
