The Flash enters The Laff-A-Lympics

I'm going to have to see if there are any episodes of Laff-A-Lympics or Wacky Races around to watch.  I haven's seen an episode of either since they originally aired, but I remember getting a real kick out of the cartoon crossover show.  Maybe the new Me TV Toons channel will play them (if Comcast ever carries it).

Zorro and El Kabong

I have been seeing more and more artwork by Francesco Frankavilla in the past few years, and I am really impressed by it.  He has an instantly recognizable style that is as effective in black and white as it is in color, due to his inking skills and mastery of light and shadow.  It's a style all his own that still evokes two of my all time favorite comic artists - Alex Toth and Joe Kubert.  I first discovered him as a cover artist, but soon learned that his interiors are great as well.

Jonah Hex and Quick Draw McGraw

When I was a kid, I loved to get up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons, and liked all of the Hanna-Barbera characters.  Disney was not represented in the mornings and while I loved Warner Bros. Looney Toons, they seemed to show the same episodes over and over - but H-B seemed to have a lot of different shows to offer, from Super-heroic Action to Funny Animals.  Every once in a while I will watch an old episode on YouTube and it brings me right back to those days.
