Ghost Vs. The Ghost

 

This is a pairing that was requested by Bob Greenwade, frequent commenter and Patron of this Blog. Thanks, Bob!  My only question is how do two characters engage in battle when they can't make physical contact with each other?  That would be a problem for the writer to figure out, I guess!

Iron Man and Ice

 

There have been talks of having Robert Downey Jr. return to the role if Iron Man, along with other deceased or retired Avengers.  I know that Marvel Studios is in a slump now, but the way to correct things is to not saturate the market with sub-par product.  Hopefully they will go back to what worked in the first place - concentrating on a few movies and shows a year and maintaining close quality control.  To bring back characters that have already completed their arcs will smack of desperation unless it is really done well.

Spider-Man and Nightshade

 

Nightshade was one of the more interesting characters that DC Comics acquired from Charlton - but they never seemed to really know what to do with her.  She served time on The Suicide Squad and made various guest appearances over the years, but after a while I lost track of her.  Perhaps a long stint with The Birds of Prey or Justice League of America would have given her more recognition.
