Sherlock Holmes Vs. The Riddler

Sherlock Holmes actually did show up in a couple of Batman stories, which was pretty cool.  An actor  playing Holmes had a run in with The Joker in a fun tale as well. Still, the match up I'd be interested to see would be Holmes versus Edward Nigma. Nobody is better at solving riddles than Holmes, and that would challenge the Batman foe like never before.

Ms. Marvel and Halo

In a move that surprised many, Marvel has killed off Kamala Khan in the comics.  At first I wondered why because despite the fact that her comics have never been huge sellers, the character is about to make her big screen debut in The Marvels.  My hunch is that like most comic book deaths, this one will be reversed rather soon and the reintroduced Kamala will no longer be an Inhuman but a mutant, to more closely tie her to the MCU version.

Justice League Dark Vs. Mephisto

Ever since Wanda/Vision, there has been rampant speculation as to when and where (and if) Mephisto will show up in the MCU.  I haven't really been expecting him to show up yet, so I have not been disappointed at his absence thus far.  Now that Agatha Harkness is getting her own spinoff Disney+ series, there's another chance to get him into the mix though.  If he's going to make his debut anywhere, that might be an appropriate place.

Shade the Changing Man and Grimjack

Here's a cover featuring a couple of characters that I need to get to know better.  Grimjack always looked cool to me, and I enjoy the writing and art team of John Ostrander and Tim Truman, but I never got a chance to check out any of the comics, what's his best adventure?.  I've read very little of Shade, I think only when he was a member of Suicide Squad.  Is this new version  the same character that Ditko created in the 70's?

A big thank you to Bob Sanders for supporting the blog and suggesting this team-up!
