Elongated Man and Stingray
I loved when some of my favorite C-list heroes got the spotlight, so a team up like this that featured two of them would have jumped right off of the racks for me. Let's hear it for the unsung heroes of our youth!

Power Pack and Green Arrow
Oliver Queen has mentored sidekicks before, but never anyone as young as the members of this group. That might make for some interesting interaction between the gruff archer and the wide-eyed youthful heroes.

Wolverine and The Atom Vs. Aliens
Who is more prepared to take on a Xenomorph? A berserker scrapper or a shrinking scientist? Why not cover all the bases and have them join forces? It would be a fun battle to watch play out, anyway!

Hawkman & Hawkgirl and Power Pack
The first image of Aldis Hodge as Hawkman has been released and I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, I love the huge size of the wings and I can't deny that the suit is comics-accurate - But of all of Hawkman's various looks over the years, they decided to go with that one? I remember when the garish red and gold outfits with the metallic wings were introduced for Hawkman and Hawkwoman - and I also remember them being ridiculed and rejected by the fans, which is why they didn't stick around for very long. It's a head scratcher that they were used for inspiration. At least give him feather wings and green pants!
Hawkman and Hawkgirl here are by Bryan Hitch and Ed Benes, respectively. I was lucky enough to pick up original pages by both of the talented artists several years back:

Power Pack and Halo
Thank you to Justin, a Patron of this blog, for suggesting I pair Halo and Julie Power together due to their similar powers. There's definitely story potential there! I've always liked Jim Aparo's design for Halo's outfit, it's quite unique. I parted ways with my original Batman and the Outsiders art page featuring Halo, but I still have one page of Aparo art in my collection:

Power Pack and Power Rangers
Happy Thanksgiving!
I was a little too old to get into them, but I do remember being surprised at the popularity of The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers when they first hit the scene. I recently watched an episode about the property on Netflix' awesome series The Toys That Made Us, and it shed a lot of light on how they were developed. Why Marvel never tried to market Power Pack with toys or a cartoon show I do not know.

Power Pack and The Legion of Super-Pets
There's just something so fun about a team of heroic animals. I am an animal lover so the concept appeals to me as goofy as it is. Of course, when I was a kid, it didn't seem goofy to me at all, I took their adventures just as seriously as I did their human counterparts. My current cat Ace has no extra-feline powers, but I know within him beats the heart of a champion.

Power Pack and The Legion of Super-Heroes
Now that Disney owns the Marvel properties, I will be surprised if we don't heard more plans for Power Pack. A superhero team made up of young brothers and sisters that get caught up in intergalactic shenanigans seems like a natural for the the House of Mickey. I can imagine a feature film, streaming series or even an animated show coming out of the concept.

Superman and Power Pack
Power Pack was unique in a couple of ways that has always made them interesting to me. First, that it was a team of kids - I had of course seen teen teams, but this one featured heroes even younger, and that lent an interesting perspective. Then there was the fact that they were all members of the same family. I have four brothers and two sisters of my own, so I always liked stories that dealt with the relationships between siblings. I could definitely see Power Pack being successfully translated to live action if they paid attention to these aspects when adapting the property..

Catwoman and Hellcat
I'm not sure why there are so many cat-themed female characters in fiction, but there must be some underlying reason for such a common archetype. Maybe it is because cats are beautiful, graceful, mysterious and strong willed - all characteristics of a classic heroine or femme fatale. At any rate, it's a concept that has given us a lot of cool characters, and these two are among my favorites.
