John Carter and The Martian Manhunter

Here's a long overdue revisit.  J'onn J'onzz first encountered John Carter way back in STF #38, over a decade ago when this was still an MS Paint blog.  the John Carter movie may never get a sequel, but there's no reason that this tale shouldn't!

Martian Manhunter and The Vision

The brief glimpses of Martian Manhunter in his alien form on Supergirl remain my favorite part of the show.  I still think he belongs on the big screen, though.  Any Justice League sequel will want to distance and differentiate itself from the first attempt, so I feel that the additions of Green Lantern and J'onn J'onzz are a must.  Get an amazing actor like Idris Elba or Denzel Washington to portray the Manhunter from Mars and he could steal the show!

Martian Manhunter and Thor

Thor: Ragnarok will be the title of the third solo outing for Marvel's Thunder God and I am hoping that it will learn from the first two installments and have more of a focus on action over goofy humor and unnecessary side characters.  While Loki is sure to be featured prominently, I'd like to see some other Thor villains like The Enchantress or The Executioner get a chance to do their thing.  At any rate, we won't have to wait that long for an update on Asgard - Idris Elba let it slip that Loki and Heimdall will be making appearances in Avengers: The Age of Ultron.

Martian Manhunter Vs. Fin Fang Foom

I love that Fin Fang Foom graduated from his early days as the villain of a monster comic to becoming a fairly wall known opponent  in the Marvel superhero line of titles.  There were a lot of giant monsters terrorizing the populace when Foom first hit the scene, but few would be able to transition genres they way that he has managed to. And why not?  With creators like Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, it's not surprising that other writes would like to use him in their stories.  Now let's get him into an Iron Man or Thor movie
