Iron Man, The Question and The Terminator

 

Looks like I just popped images of Vic Sage and a Terminator in to create this new cover, right?  There was a bit of prep work required before I could do that.  Here is a look at the behind the scenes progress:

Sgt. Rock Vs. Predator

 

This is a crossover that I think would actually make for a great mini-series.  I usually prefer to see Sgt. Rock in situations more grounded in reality, but I'd love to see how he responds to this type of extraterrestrial threat.  He would be taken aback, that's for sure, but Rock never gives up and never stops fighting.  If there's one other soldier besides Arnold Schwarzenegger's Dutch that could have a chance against a Predator, it's got to be Frank Rock.

Snake Plissken Vs. Predator

 

Thank you to Mike Shirley, a Patron of this blog, for suggesting this match up! It really does seem like a natural for a man known for getting out of inhospitable places to go up against a hunter that won't stop until he lands his prey.  Let's just hope that Dutch gave Snake a few pointers on this particular threat, I think he may need them!

Daredevil Vs. Predator

 

I made this cover before I found out that Disney had acquired the rights to the Alien and Predator franchises.  Now it seems like this is one of those match ups that might actually happen for real.  I don't know if Marvel has any interest in folding the two space monster epics into their mainstream continuity, but I wouldn't be surprised to at least see some crossover one shots or mini series featuring one or both versus heroes from the MCU.

Daredevil Vs. Predator

This could be a pretty interesting match-up.  Predators are great hunters but they rely a lot on stealth, which would not be nearly as effective as it usually is, given Daredevil's enhanced senses.  The question is whether a billy club and acrobatics can match up against the strength and weapons of a Predator.

Magnus: Robot Fighter Vs. The Terminator

The first two Terminator films are such classics, it's too bad that later installments ave failed to capture the mac of those films.  While the last three films each had a cool action scene or two, they haven't really been worthy of what had gone before.  Like the Aliens and Predator franchises, I am sure that Hollywood will keep trying, though.  I think the only thing that could really get me excited is if James Cameron returned as director, but he has moved on to Avatar unfortunately.

Solomon Grundy Vs. The Hulk

The Hulk gets stronger the angrier that he gets, and if you manage to kill Grundy, he will just come back - this would definitely be a battle that would last a while.  I think after a lot of property damage, I'd have to give the edge to ol' Jade Jaws.

These two met once before, fighting side by side against Green Arrow and Hawkeye...

Kraven the Hunter Vs. Predator

We have yet to see Kraven on the big screen, but with Spider-Man about to start another franchise, there's still the possibility.  He may be a tough character to pull of but I think that an actor like Jeffrey Dean Morgan would be able to embody the ferocity and determination of Sergei Kravinoff.
