Green Lantern Corps Vs. The Wrecking Crew

 

The new Lanterns trailer was a lot better than the teaser but I still have my reservations about the show. It still feels a bit like it's embarrassed to be a Green Lantern show, and I don't like some of the rumors I've read regarding the fates of some of the characters.  Still, it's an HBO series and they are usually well written, and I do like the cast.  A lot is riding on this series, so I hope it is received well.  

The Rogues Vs. The Wrecking Crew

 

This would be an interesting free for all to watch play out.  The Rogues have the numbers and the gadgets, while the Crew has Asgardian magic to back them up.  Who wins?

This is another cover that took a bit of tweaking to accomplish.  I had to remove The Defenders and then do some background extension, plus add in a bunch of extra rubble before gettting Steel in there. here's a look behind the scenes: 

Robotman Vs. The Wrecking Crew

The New Thor: Ragnarok trailer gave us our best look yet at Hela and The Executioner, and they look great alongside Valkyrie, Loki, the Grandmaster and Surtur.  Part of me still longs to see Thor's more Earth-bound antagonists, The Wreckng Crew.  Their enchanted weapons and numbers make them a threat to the Thunder God, and their personalities and motivations are decidedly different from the foes he has face thus far on the big screen.  I don't know if a fourth Thor movie will even happen, but if it does, I hope they get their chance.

The Teen Titans Vs. The Wrecking Crew

The Marvel movies have had a lot of hero vs. hero and hero team vs. Bad Guy with an army action lately and I think it is time for an honest to goodness villain team to show up.  Let's see The Sinister Six finally unite or The Wrecking Crew or Masters of Evil making life a pain for The Avengers.

Superman Vs. The Wrecking Crew

was surprised to hear that a new Superman has been cast for the upcoming season of Supergirl.  I had figured they would want to keep him at a distance so as not to overshadow his cousin.  It will be interesting to see how much the character is utilized and how the costume looks as compared to his big screen counterpart.

Batman Vs. The Masters of Evil

I'd love to see Batman mix it up with these bad guys.  Despite the overwhelming odds, I would still have to give the Caped Crusader the edge in this battle.  There's no way he would allow him in such a situation without a few surprises planned to counter their various abilities.  Still, this group handed The Avengers one of their biggest defeats, so you can never count them out.

The Joker and The Masters of Evil

I have always liked how The Joker can always seem to hold his own when placed alongside much more powerful super-villains.  He may not have any special abilities, but his insanity gives him an unpredictability that can give him the edge over more methodical characters.  It's always fun to see him alongside other villains because you are just waiting to see who is going to double-cross who first!
