The Vision Vs. Darkseid

Marvel has seemed to slow down a bit and plans to space their future projects a little farther apart than they have been lately.  That's probably a good thing in the interest of quality control, but it means that it will probably be quite a time before the promised Disney+ Vision Quest series makes it's debut.  Let's hope it stays on the schedule, It's one of the announced shows that I am most interested in.

Deadpool Vs. Lobo

This is a crossover that I would love to see actually happen.  I'm not even a very big fan of Lobo, but a story pitting him against the merc with a mouth has a lot of entertaining potential.  I imagine that neither combatant would be very impressed with the other, and the insults would be flying as fast as the fists.

The Vixen and The Phantom

I thought that The Vixen's first live action appearance on Arrow a few weeks back was just about perfect.  The DC TV Universe can make some puzzling alterations to the characters they include from time to time, but this was an example where they got it just right.  From casting to costume to the use and visualization of her powers, it was just as if Mari McCabe stepped right out of the comics.  Out of all the characters introduced so far, I think Vixen has the strongest spin-off potential. Let's get her on her own show or at least as a regular member of Legends of Tomorrow!

The Phantom Stranger Joins The Secret Wars

I was a fan of the first Secret Wars series.  Sure, the plot was all over the place, but it was fun to see so many Marvel characters sharing one big epic for the first time.  So, when it was announced that the sequel would include even more characters from the Marvel Universe I was really looking forward to it.  Secret Wars II was pretty wonky though, and the Beyonder himself was tough to take seriously with his Jheri Curl and disco outfits.  I must say I did enjoy a lot of the ongoing comic series that had tie-ins to the event though.

Doctor Doom and The Demon

Given Victor Von Doom's affinity for medieval architecture and dark magic, I think that he would would be a good match for Etrigan.  Whether they were battling one another or joining forces, you just know that a tale featuring them together would be a Hell of a good romp.  I would have loved to have seen Jack Kirby take a crack at it.

The Demon and Doctor Strange

The Demon is one of those characters that brings out the best in artists.  His hellish appearance allows them to take plenty of creative licence while still retaining the classic look of the character.  Jack Kirby, John Totleben, John Byrne, Mike Mignola, Bruce Timm, Val Semeiks and others have given us many varied takes on Etrigan, each one cool in its own way.

This would be a fun match up to see, I think.  They are each well versed in the mystic arts, but have vastly different styles of utilizing that knowledge.
