Mademoiselle Marie and The Invaders

Are fishnets and a mini skirt appropriate battle wear?  Maybe not, but Marie is an effective agent nonetheless. It would be cool to see her on a mission with The Invaders.

Green Arrow and Captain America in: "Batroc & The Behemoth!"

Following up from yesterday's Golden Age style cover, here I present a Bronze Age adventure between Cap and Ollie. It took some tinkering to remove Spider-Man from the original image - Here's a look at the behind the scenes progress:

Captain America and Green Arrow in: "A High-Rise Heist!"

I was surprised to realize that I had gone this far without featuring a team up between these two heroes.  To make up for it, here's a Golden Age adventure - And up next tomorrow will be a Bronze Age style cover featuring them together as well.

Bulletman and Captain America

I remember being surprised when I first encountered Bulletman in the comics.  Here he was appearing in a Justice League/Justice Society crossover - and I didn't realize DC had the rights to the character.  Up until then, I had seen him only as an action figure, I thought he was part of the G.I. Joe line. I'm still not sure how he got mixed in with the rest of those Real American Heroes.

Captain America and Catwoman in: "Hydra Heist!"

Cap and Catwoman first met in a back up tale in STF #2100, and I thought that this pairing deserves their own full length issue - especially if it could have featured the amazing artwork of the legendary Ramona Fradon!

Aquaman and Captain America in "When War Comes Ashore!"

This Golden Age team up is long overdue.  A lighthouse haunted by Nazis seems like just the kind of case that would bring these heroes together.  Aquaman and Cap shared a Bronze Age adventure in STF #3436...

Captain America and Doll Man

I liked reading Doll Man tales when I was a kid, and that was no small accomplishment, given his costume and superhero name, neither of which were very cool.  The amazing  artwork I saw in the reprints featuring him was enough to overcome those hurdles.  I do wonder if the character might have been named Action Figure Man or something else had he been created a decade or two later.

Robin and Captain America

It's never a bad time to feature the Robin of Earth 2 in his greatest costume.  Throw in a living legend and maniacal madman with robotic muscle and you have the ingredients for a fun Bronze Age tale!

Captain America and Johnny Thunder

Johnny has a genie and a super-soldier as back up so I think he'll do OK in this situation.  Still, I'd be interested in reading about it, especially to see the young hero's reaction to working alongside Cap.

Captain America and The Question

Chris Evans is insisting that he will not be a part of Avengers: Doomsday, so the Steve Rogers Captain America will apparently continue to be off the board in the MCU if he is to be believed.  Still, the lackluster box office and critical reception of Sam Wilson's cinematic outing as Captain America may have Marvel thinking about bringing Rogers back at some point.

Avengers Vs. Composite Superman

If you were wondering where the rest of the Totalitarians were while Super-Skrull was battling Metamorpho a few days ago, well here is a partial answer to that question.  Let's hope that teamwork from Earth's Mightiest Heroes wins the day!

Skyrocket and The Invaders

DC Comics may have forgotten about Skyrocket, but I haven't.  She's too cool of a character to keep on the shelf.  Hopefully they will realize her worth and create a comic that can present her further adventures.

Justice League of America and Captain America

Captain America first encountered the JLA way back in STF #250..., an early MS Paint effort.  It looks like his investigation there took a dark turn, leading to this long-overdue sequel!

Captain America and Doctor Fate

This one would be like one of those hidden gem Golden Age tales that I discovered as a back up tale in a 100-Page Giant or Annual back in the day.  It was cool as a young reader to get a peek at comics from an earlier era.

Spaceman Spiff and Captain America

Captain America is a natural born leader, but could even he be able to rein in the action-seeking mind of Calvin?  It would be an interesting meeting, to be sure.

Skyrocket and Captain America

It's a shame that DC Comics has such a cool character in Skyrocket, and nothing is done with her.  The company definitely needs more female heroes that aren't tied to a per-existing male hero, and she is an excellent example of that.  I hope her creator, Kurt Busiek, or some other writer finds a way to properly utilize this hidden gem.

Man-Bat and Captain America

James Gunn's DCU seems to be the place for Batman's more outlandish villains and allies to appear.  We already have Dr. Phosphorous in Creature Commandos and a solo Clayface movie is in the works as well.  I really hope that Man-Bat will finally get his live action debut in a DCU project down the line.

Steel and Captain America

This is another team up that I feel has been long overdue.  I can see these two working very well together. I just cut the cord, so I will have to wait to watch the final episodes of Superman and Lois when they show up on Max, but I am hoping for at least one more big action sequence from Steel.

The Crimson Avenger and The Avengers in: "The Tragic Vow of Lee Travis!"

I felt that this team up idea from comics' historian and Patron of this blog Marc Tyler Nobleman was worthy of a follow up story.  Regular visitors, may remember the Crimson Avengers first encounter with Earth's Mightiest Heroes in STF #3271.  Thanks again for the idea, Marc!

Captain America and Savage Dragon

It will be interesting to see where the Marvel Cinematic Universe ends up after the Russo Brothers close up the Multiverse Saga with their two upcoming Avengers movies.  Will Steve Rogers be back in the role of Cap through some multiversal shenanigans? Would he stick around if so? I'm guessing a lot will depend on how well Captain America: Brave New World performs at the box office with Sam Wilson in the title role.
