E-Man and Wildfire

This is another cover that required some background building before I could add in new elements. Here's a look at the behind the scenes progress:

Booster Gold and The Avengers in: "Skip Day!"

A lot of prep work was required to remove Spider-Man before I could add Booster Gold in to this image.  Here's a look at the behind the scenes progress:

Booster first met The Avengers back in STF #3114...

Power Man & Iron Fist and The Titans

The New Teen Titans was my go-to comic for nonstop action back in the day.  I still remember the issue where the team invaded the Brotherhood of Evil's headquarters, great stuff.  Hopefully the story above would offer the same bang for your buck.

Banshee and Blue Devil Vs. Mongul

This marks the fourth appearance of the Cassidy Cousins.  They  faced their unlucky curse head on in STF #4414, They met up with their Uncle Ted in STF #4282, and first were featured together in STF #3875...

Blue Beetle and Booster Gold Vs. Aliens

The Blue and Gold team have a way of getting in and out of tight spots, so this is a scenario that I can see happening.  You can't wise-crack your way out of a Xenomorph infestation, so I'd like to see how they deal with this particular menace.

Robo Force in: "Under Siege!"

This marks the ninth appearance of Robo Force on this blog, and this cover required a little prep work before adding in the images of our heroes in peril.  There was some background repair and extension required, as well as cleaning up the coloring since I couldn't find a crisp digital image of this splash page.  Here's a look at the behind the scenes progress:

Justice League of America and Gargoyle

There has been lots of discussion about what to do with the next Avengers movie now that Jonathan Majors' Kang is out of the picture.  They could recast and call it a variant, but Marvel seems to want to move on.  Many have said to use Doctor Doom, but he should be with the Fantastic Four.  I'd love to see Nightmare finally make a live action appearance, he certainly has enough power to become a franchise wide threat.  Plus, Ironheart, which was to debut Mephisto, has been shelved indefinitely, so there's an opening for a mystical adversary.

Booster Gold and Conan

Hey, if you're going to learn, learn from the best!  I can see Booster using his Time Bubble to pull a stunt like this.  Of course, knowing him, not everything will go exactly to plan.

I am always glad to use an image here by Dan Jurgens.  I was lucky enough to pick up an original page by him (and inker Rick Burchett) many years back:

The Watcher and Green Lanterns

I haven't read too many issues featuring new Green Lanterns Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz, but I have to say I really like the costume designs for each.  Cruz' personality and how it relates to her use of the ring is pretty interesting as well.  I am curious as to whether there is a story reason that Earth now has seven human Green Lanterns in operation (Hal, John, Kyle, Guy, Simon Jessica and the new Teen Lantern).  I don't think there have been so many at once before.

Jonah Hex Vs. Scarlet Witch

I was intrigued by the quick glimpse of Scarlet Witch and The Vision in the teaser trailer for Avengers: Infinity War.  It looks like they will continue to develop their romantic relationship.  They were one of my favorite comic couples so that should be interesting to see - even if the trailer also hinted at bad things in store for the synthezoid.
