The New Teen Titans was my go-to comic for nonstop action back in the day. I still remember the issue where the team invaded the Brotherhood of Evil's headquarters, great stuff. Hopefully the story above would offer the same bang for your buck.

Well, I'd certainly expect plenty of bang for the first sixty cents! If the publisher and the writer wanted the remaining forty, they'd have to provide a clear-cut reason for Graviton holding a grudge against the superheroes on the cover rather than the Avengers. After all; he's been one of their most relentless foes since he was first introduced! The only non-Avenger I can recall him facing is Uni-powered Spidey (who was still a non-member ally at the time, iirc).
Luke being older than most?? and with Changling?? Just a usual Tuesday morning. (rrriiiiggghhhtt !!)
Well, is anyone on the cover a former Avenger? That might at least partially satisfy Cary's objection.
But things could hairy for Graviton should Raven show up wielding the power of Captain Universe -- which is a cover I'd pay 60 cents to see.
On another topic, how about "Deadpool Attempts to Join the Legion of Super-Heroes"?
Ross, howabout Starfire joins the Fantastic Four?
Luke Cage was a New Avenger in the years between the Raft Brekaout and the Secret Skrull Invasion. But, Graviton targeting the others just to get Cage? Nah! He's after something bigger than just revenge.
But, Carycomic is half-right. Spidey was briefly Capt. Universe in Feb. 1990. Exactly fifteen years _before_ he and Cage became New Avengers!
Perhaps Gravitron has mistaken Raven for the Black Widow?
Feasible! Did Raven go ginger as a result of "Rebirth"?
No, I think it turns Trigon-red when she gets angry. And even Mangog wouldn't like her when she's angry!
I'd buyt that...for half a dollar.
That I'd buy for seventy cents (keep the change)!
:-)
