Warlock Vs. Khan

I watched Star Trek II again last night.  Ricardo Montalban's iconic performance as James T. Kirk's arch foe from that movie as well as the earlier series episode Space Seed still holds up today.  His commitment to the role with equal parts rage, confidence, swagger and obsession along with an interesting back story made Khan one of the all-time great screen villains. He's always fun to revisit.

The Overlords

This assemblage if intergalactic despots is simply packed with power, and I would fear for anyone that should oppose them.  Still, I think their biggest challenge would come from internal struggles - none of these villains like to share the reigns of command.  It would just be a matter of time before they turn on one another.

Superman Vs. Khan

I am a big fan of Benedict Cumberbatch and love his performances on Sherlock and Doctor Strange.  That said, as talented as he is, his turn as Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness did not work for me.  How can you try to recreate on of the greatest villains to grace the silver screen?  Ricardo Montalban gave such an iconic performance that I can understand why Cumberbatch chose not to try an imitation, but the result was a character that bore very little resemblance to the classic Star Trek adversary.  They should have just gone with an original villain.

Khan and Boba Fett

A science fiction franchise is only as good as its bad guys and here are two of the coolest.  It might be fun to see them work together.  Would their combined efforts finally take down their nemeses, or would one of them wind up double crossing the other first?
