Indiana Jones Vs. Enemy Ace

I still haven't checked out the latest Indiana Jones movie.  What I saw did not fill me with confidence and the lackluster reviews have not been encouraging.  Still, I am at least curious about the flashback sequences with a de-aged Harrison Ford, so I'll check it out for that reason once it hits Disney+.

Doc Samson and Raven

The She-Hulk Disney+ series will be bringing us the adventures of a gamma-powered attorney soon.  What better place to also introduce a gamma powered therapist?  Ty Burrell appeared as Doctor Leonard Samson in The Incredible Hulk, so he's already technically in the MCU. I want to see the green haired muscled up version though, so there would have to be some re-casting.  I think a bodybuilder with acting chops could pull off the role, no need for CGI.

Fin Fang Foom Vs. The Metal Men

The Metal Men always had an eclectic rogues gallery, and I think that Fin Fang Foom would fit right in with them. He is giant and menacing, and likes to make grand speeches.  Plus,  his big purple gym shorts make him just goofy enough to work in a story with Doc Magnus' amazing robots.

Doc Samson Vs. Harley Quinn in: "Psychiatric Breakdown!"

DC seems determined to bring Harley Quinn back to the big screen, they just don't seem to be able to decide just how to do that.  There have been films floated for Harley and The Joker, Gotham City Sirens, Batgirl, Suicide Squad 2 and Batman - any of which could showcase  Dr. Harleen Quinzel's breed of insanity.  A Batgirl film seems to be getting the most steam these days, but DC changes their plans from week to week, so who knows where Margot Robbie will put on the face paint again?

These two shrinks first crossed paths in STF #1216...

Indiana Jones and Hawkman

These two are both in the same line of work, so it was only a matter of time before they crossed paths. There has been some discussion lately about whether the Indiana Jones franchise should continue. and if so - in what form.  Harrison Ford has expressed interest interest in one more outing, and I am not against that, even if the last one was not as well received by critics as they had hoped.  Every once in a while a name comes up as a choice to recast the iconic role.  Usually, I don't give these much credence, but one has surfaced that might actually work: Chris Pratt. It would still probably be a mistake to try and replace Ford, but Pratt is the first actor I have heard that I think could maybe pull it off.

Doc Samson and Superman

This is the first cover where I have used an image featuring Superman in his New 52 duds.  It's not a bad look for him, but the collar just has to go.  Frankly with the negative reaction to it as well as the fact that Superman in Man of Steel was collar-free, I am surprised it is still there.  At least he still has some kind of an "S" on the cape.  I prefer a yellow "S" but it's better than the blank look of the movie and cartoons.
