The Human Torch and Challengers of the Unknown

Ah, Paste-Pot Pete, always trying to be taken seriously. Even a name change and costume upgrade weren't enough to get him out of the C-List of villains.  Will this latest scheme catapult him to infamy?  I doubt it, but that's part of his charm.

Green Lantern & Green Arrow Vs. The Frightful Four

Warner Bros is taking their sweet time bringing Hal Jordan back to the movies.  There's the long ago announced and slow moving Green Lantern Corps series for HBO Max, but he wont be part of that.  By the time he hits the big screen again, we'll be ready for a new Oliver Queen as well - so why not bring them back together?  I'd be up for a Hard Travelling Heroes movie!

Plastic Man Vs. The Trapster

OK, this was a suggestion from either a blog Patron or a visitor in the comments, but I forget who!  So if it was you, speak up and thanks for the inspiration!

UPDATE! Thank you to David Clerici for the idea for this this clever match up!

Speaking of inspirations, one of the greatest in the comics world is legendary artist Ramona Fradon.  at 94 years old, she is still creating amazing artwork today.  I was very fortunate to get an original piece from her many years back:

White Tiger and Mister Miracle

It would be cool to see at least one of the incarnations of The White Tiger to show up on the Netflix shows.  Daredevil is my first thought, given some of the story lines they have shared, but he (or she) would probably fir in well on any of the series.  It could be just the boost needed for the character to rekindle popularity in the comics.

Batman and The Thing (Retro)

It was fun to go back to a Thing cover again... this actually makes my fourth pairing with these two (sixth if you count Fantastic Four covers).  They are my two favorite characters from their respective companies so I really dig the idea of them sharing adventures together.  How I would have loved to see Jim Aparo illustrate The Thing in B&B, or John Buscema give us a Marvel version of the team up in MTIO... Such wishes filled my head as a child and the untapped possibilities they suggest are the basis for this blog.
