I thought it was time for this assemblage of heroes that have held the Captain Marvel title to return.  Of course, a team this powerful requires some formidable opponents.  Who better than two of their greatest adversaries, putting their evil mind and might together?

Batman & The Outsiders and Guardians of the Galaxy (And more!)

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 has released its full trailer, and I am glad that they fill it with cool shots and character moments, but do not give the whole plot away.  Even so, I am trying to remain very disciplined - I only watched the trailer once, and on a tiny little screen.  I know for sure that I will be seeing the film in the theater and I don't want to spoil too much for myself the way I have for far too many other movies.  I hear that audience preview scores have been through the roof, so I am expecting another fun night at the movies.

Captains Marvel

I can understand why they finally made the change, but I still think it's too bad that the original Captain Marvel no longer goes by that name and now calls himself Shazam.  If they had to change the name, I always preferred something like Captain Thunder. At any rate, on this blog Billy Batson's superheroic persona will always be Captain Marvel.
