The Nuclear Option
I've been meaning to put together a nuclear-powered team for a while now, and I'm finally getting around to it. This cover is dedicated to The Irredeemable Shagg Matthews, Master Podcaster and the biggest Firestorm fan in the world. I was definitely thinking back to my appearance on the Fire And Water Network's Firestorm Fan podcast a few years back as I made this.

Mr. Terrific and E-Man
James Gunn seems to like Tweeting images that hint at his DC plans and one that really got fans talking was of Mr. Terrific. Hopefully this means we'll be seeing Michael Holt on the big screen. Hopefully with his team The Terrifics, that way we'll get Phantom Girl, Metamorpho and Plastic Man as well.

Firestorm and E-Man
I remember being surprised when the relatively new hero Firestorm was allowed to join the Justice League of America. He was a welcome addition though - I really liked his interactions with other members of the team. Superman acted as a mentor, and The Flash would get annoyed by his inexperience. There was even a spark of romance with him and Power Girl during the JLA/JSA crossovers, I always hoped that would have gone somewhere.

Metamorpho and E-Man
E-Man was another one of those comics that I was aware of through comic magazines, but never seemed to be sold anywhere around me. I remember liking what I saw though, Nicola Cuti and Joe Staton looked like they were having a blast on the series. It resurfaced every few years under different publishers, so it certainly had a following. One of these days I am going to have to catch up with those early issues.
