Wildcat and The Blonde Phantom (Vs. The Ringmaster!)

The Ringmaster and his Circus of Crime may never have hit A-Level super-villain status, but I always enjoyed when they would show up in the comics.  I don't know if we'll ever see them appear in the MCU.   Maybe an appearance on one of their streaming series might work. Maynard Tiboldt would certainly be a fun role for an actor to dive into

Wildcat first met the Blonde Phantom in STF #3826...

Batman and The Blonde Phantom

I've been re-watching the entire run of Batman: The Brave and the Bold on HBO Max and it's just such a fun show.  The love for DC Comics history shows in every episode, I'm amazed at some of the characters they decided to use.  I can't seem to find Justice League Action on the service, however.  I'd love to do a re-watch of that series as well -  I'm not sure I caught all of the episodes when they were first briadcast.

Blonde Phantom and Wildcat

I've already established that Tigra is Wildcat's niece on this blog, and I thought it might be nice to give the JSA's resident pugilist a sister as well.  I come from a big family - I have four brothers and two sisters, so stories about relationships between siblings have always appealed to me.

Catwoman Vs. The Blonde Phantom

If you think fighting crime in a long dress and high heels is a challenge, you should see how hard it is to train cats to attack your opponents on command.  This is the world of comics though, it doesn't matter how outlandish the concept may be as long as the depiction of it looks cool on the printed page!  At least that was the attitude back in the golden age, which is one reason those stories can be so fun.

Blonde Phantom and Black Canary

Having Earth One Black Canary be revealed to actually be the daughter of the original Earth Two Black Canary was a retcon that made sense to me.  I always wondered if there was an age difference between Dinah and Green Arrow when they became a couple, since she had been sharing adventures with the Justice Society for a while before he came along.  I also fondly remember an issue of Secret Origins which featured both of the Black Canaries, streamlining their history and focusing on their relationship with one another.

Plastic Man and The Blonde Phantom

I was looking for a Golden Age character to pair up with Plas and I liked how these two looked together.  You have to appreciate a heroine who will fight crime in heels and an evening gown!  Plastic Man has always been one of the goofiest looking superheroes, but I love the fact that he has never changed his look throughout the decades.  Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever seen him without his goggles since his first appearance... do they even come off?
