Kilowog and Rocket Raccoon

Continuing from yesterday's Part One, we see that more players have joined in on the action.

There has been much speculation that JJ Abrams will be taking the reigns of the DCEU now that he has a huge production deal with Warner Brothers.  Most are guessing that his first film will be  a Superman project, which could be cool - but what I would really like to see is his take on The Green Lantern Corps.  Yes, he can be derivative at times, but he knows how to make a space epic look great.

Make sure you come back tomorrow for the thrilling conclusion!

The Punisher Vs. Ambush Bug

I'm looking forward to the watching new (and it would seem, final) season of The Punisher on Netflix.  It's getting good reviews and Jon Bernthal does a great job in the role of Frank Castle.  I hope that they had some kind of heads-up on a cancellation so that the show can come to some sort of conclusion (like Daredevil) and not end on a cliffhanger (like Luke Cage).

Lando Calrissian, Mister Terrific and The Thing

I am glad to see that these three characters are finally getting some time back in the spotlight.  After being sidelined due to movie rights haggling and reduced to being a guest star in Guardians of the Galaxy, Ben Grimm will finally be starring in a title of his own, a revival of Marvel-Two-In-One (hopefully with a rotating roster of guest stars instead of just the announced Johnny Storm).  Mr. Terrific will be heading up The Terrifics, which will also include Metamorpho, Plastic Man and Phantom Girl - which sounds like it will be very ccol and fun.  Finally, Lando Calrissian will be blasting back to the silver screen alongside a young Han Solo.  I look forward to seeing what Donald Glover does in the role.

The Truants

I knew this would happen eventually.  Originally, the name of this team I came up with was "The Delinquents".  Little did I realize, a team by that name was already created (a spin-off of Quantum and Woody).  So, I had to go with my back-up idea for a name - not as cool sounding, but it still works, I guess!

The Flash and Captain Midnight

The Flash has exceeded my expectations thus far.  The special effects are impressive for a TV show and showcase the Scarlet Speedster's abilities nicely.  I also like that the series seems to be working as a springboard for other DCU characters to appear.  Grant Gustin does very well in the lead role, which he imbues with a sense of earnestness and optimism that really evokes the character from the comics.  I'm really looking forward to the crossover event with Arrow, and then further on down the road... Grodd!
