The Quarrymen in: "Rock and Rule!"

 

I'm surprised that it took me until the fourth appearance of The Quarrymen to pit them against Terrax.  It seems like a natural confrontation, and I am betting that this former herald of Galactus will give them a run for their money.

For the conclusion to our Three-Part Epic, we see that thankfully, Hank Hall's injuries were not fatal - but in the meantime, there's still work to be done!  It might be interesting to see how this pairing operates together without Hawk's participation.

Hawk & Dove and The Falcon (Part One)

 

Presenting Part One of a Three-Part Epic!  I felt that it was time to put the bird themed heroes together.  The Falcon possesses skills that strike a nice balance between these two.  He battles with the ferocity of Hawk and the precision of Dove. Make sure you come back tomorrow for the middle chapter!

This would be a fun team up if only to see how Logan gets along with each side of this team. I was happy to use a Steve Dillon Wolverine image here.  He really made an impression on me, especially his work on The Punisher.  I was lucky enough to pick up an original page by him several years back:

I've lost track of where Hawk & Dove are in the DCU these days.  I remember them having a big role in the Blackest Night/Brightest Day event from a few years back, but haven't read much about them since.  The new Titans series seems to be an appropriate place to make a rebirth of their own, if it hasn't happened already.
