Black Vulcan and Mr. Spock

 

This pairing comes from a idea by comics' historian and Patron of this blog, Marc Tyler Nobleman.  Like many kids, I thought "Hey, that isn't Black Lightning!" when Black Vulcan appeared on The Super Friends.  It only makes sense that he should be given a unique back story of his own to further differentiate himself from DC's premiere electrical hero.  With Vulcan right in his name, the story suggests itself!
