Darth Vader Vs. Dreadstar

Whenever I saw that glowing sword of Dreadstar's, it always kind of reminded me of a Light Saber.  His sword grants him all kinds of special abilities, but how would it fare against the fabled Jedi weapon?  I'd say that it is time to find out!

Dreadstar and Hercules

If Marvel decides to bring Hercules into the MCU, they need look no further than Bob Layton's two Hercules: Prince of Power mini series from 1982 and 1984.  Like Thor: Ragnarok, they took a hero with roots in the mythology and transplanted him into a comedic science-fiction based adventure, with impressive results.  The only trick will be finding another actor that has the comic acting chops to match his larger than life physique!

Captain Marvel and Dreadstar

Space epics seem like the next big wave in comic book movies.  The success of Guardians of the Galaxy and the now space-bound Thor (not to mention Star Wars) have given studios to green light more interstellar adaptations.  Captain Marvel is up next, then more Guardians of the Galaxy and now there's news of Green Lantern Corps,  The New Gods and The Eternals in the planning stages.  How long before Dreadstar gets his chance?

Dreadstar and Warlock

When I think of cosmic comic books, my mind always goes to the artwork of Jim Starlin.  I remember being so impressed by his work on titles like Warlock and Captain Marvel - his sleek illustrations gave the space sagas that he illustrated a modern feel that set them apart from any other comics on the stands.  Just from looking at the covers you knew you were going to be in for a wide screen epic!
