I can only imagine what kind of situation would cause Gordon to summon the Master of Mystic Arts for assistance. It would certainly be fun to find out.

Lol! Not if the reason involved the Commissioner's cousin, Bruce Gordon. Alias Eclipso!
Or maybe the Fantastic Four had no other way to communicate with Dr. Strange. So, he could make a house call on the Baxter Building (@ STF #5175)!
Excellent pairing!
First the Bat-Signal became the Spider-Signal, and now it's the Sorcerer-Signal? What's next -- the Omni-Signal?
So, I've been reading the Grant Morrison Animal Man lately, and had a funny thought… What if Animal Man met Animal from the Muppets?
He'd most likely start chanting "An-i-mal! An-i-mal! An-i-mal!" Not to be confused with Dr. Teeth's favorite mantra: "E-nam-el! E-nam-el! E-nam-el!"
You forgot the Punisher Signal from STF #4183 (@ Sept. 26, 2023).
A thought that I had about Animal Man, some time ago, was that back when he actually needed reasonable proximity to the animals whose abilities he was copying (before the upgrade he received in '52') he presumably could have copied a tiger's abilities from Mr. Tawny if he -- for some reason -- was nearby....Maybe the [befurred] Mr T. could accompany one of the Marvels to join the same Justice League branch as Buddy?.
@Simreeve Up to where I am, he seems to have already received said upgrade, in the original series, right as it was passing from the eighties into the nineties.
Oh? in that case, I suppose the upgrade in '52' was just to let him copy abilities from extraterrestrial "animals".
Yeah, that would make sense. Talk about overpowered, with that one!
I would've loved to see Animal Man copy the powers of Krypto!
