As much as I like Andy Serkis as an actor, I was disappointed to never see a fully formed Klaw in the MCU. I don't know how they would have gone about explaining his signature comic book appearance, but it would have been cool to see.

Well, as he started out as a foe of both the Black Panther and the Fantastic Four, the PTB's at Marvel Films probably want to introduce him in a comic book-faithful origin sequence (for once). But, that will probably require a sequel to both "FF: First Steps" and "Wakanda Forever." With Princess Shuri and Pedro Pascal's Reed Richards comparing scientific notes, for some reason, when Klaw's mercenary forces invade Wakanda. At least, that's the plot gimmick I'd use to bring them all together if I were writing for Marvel Films!
Re: today's cover? I can see no reason for Klaw to be hitting Alison Blaire with his UHF sound waves as her mutant power* will simply convert them to Dazzling lights! Unless, of course, he's trying to re-energize Dr. Arthur Light for some reason?
*A sort of benign sonoluminescence.
Considering that the villainous Dr. Light hasn't been seen here since STF #4289 (@Jan. 10 of two years ago), it could be that Ben Grimm somehow managed to punch him out of the Ross-verse altogether! And his only way back in is through Dazzler (the same way she involuntarily reincorporated Edward "the Lightmaster" Lansky).
Stands to reason. Artie-boy might consider that perfect payback for her somehow defeating him back @ STF #2412 ("copyright" Nov. 2018).
I feel pretty bad for Klaw...Flash is approximately over 800,000 times faster than the speed of sound, and Dazzler's power is fed by sound. Klaw's in for a bad time...
Could be worse. During the 'Project Pegasus' story-line in Marvel Two-in-One he clashed with the Aquarian, who had energy-absorbing powers... and all of him except for his metal "hand" was absorbed.
@Reg: unless Klaw is trying to overload Dazzler's sound-into-light power. In which case, Flash might be using his super-speed to nullify those ultra-sonic vibrations! To prevent some kind of explosive chain reaction.
Cary, I think you're on to something here. This could be a decent plot a third or fourth Black Panther film. I can just see Reed's face as he says, "Wait... Your Highness, if I'm reading this right, then... that mercenary, Ulysses Klaue... is still alive."
the speed of sound? with the Flash?? i wouldn't hear of it!! good ll--uu--ccc--kkkkk!!
Sounds like Popeye having a laugh-off with one of those Martians-who-Attack-ack-ack
