Here are a couple of heroes that have never gained mainstream attention outside of die hard comic book fans. Maybe if they are included in their respective cinematic universes down the line, that will change.

Wasn't Reddy on J.L. Unlimited? low key mini series, too. Coming from the Tornado Tyrant could do that to a digital being.
"Die hard" is a more apt description than you know, Ross. Rich Rider, as Nova, has reportedly been killed off and revivified, by Marvel, more times than Hal Jordan and Bucky Barnes, put together!
Ultimo?! The giant super-robot that only the Mandarin used to be able to control? The one that even Thor had a hard time vanquishing (however briefly)? Oh, boy! Do Nova and RT have their hands full.
In fact, given the title of today's cover-sim? I think even Doomsday, himself, would have a great amount of difficulty turning Ultimo into scrap metal.
Now there's an idea: Doomsday vs. the [Asgardian] Destroyer...
See STF #4610 @ Nov. 26 of two years ago.
I don't remember if he had a big part in Unlimited but he did keep an eye on The Team in Young Justice and showed up in Batman: The Brave & The Bold at least once.
Three Guardians of the Galaxy movies, three depictions of the Nova Corps, ZERO portrayals of Richard Rider. 😟
Maybe if they do a New Warriors movie...
OK, just tossing this here on the off chance someone might see it. An idea for a team-up came to me while trying to fall asleep last night. Title of the issue: "When Hell Breaks Loose" Featuring Hellboy! Ghost Rider! Lady Death! (You can see where this is going, I hope...) That's all I got.....
Well, he was recruited to help in the search for Wonder Woman that time Circe turned her into a pig. And I did chuckle a bit when I heard him yell "Soo-whee!" in a Cylon-like monotone!
Or, failing that, I'd settle for the Inferior Five meeting the Harvey Avengers. Wendy as the Scarlet Witch; Stumbo as Giant Man; Richie Rich and Casper amalgamating as the Green Ghost; and Hot Stuff as Aka Oni (a pyrokinetic cross between Daredevil and the Red Hulk)!
Or, the Inferior 5 and the Great Lakes Avengers... vs. Mr. Universe.
I second Bob Greenwade's motion! :-)
Richard's idea could be saved for Halloween 2026.
Reddy has had plenty of media exposure besides what has been mentioned above. His appearance in the Supergirl series years ago had to give millions of non-comic book fans around the globe significant attention towards him by now. He's no Atomic Knight.
He's no Atomic Robo, either. ;-)
@Anon841: Now, now, let's be fair. In terms of appearances, here, Atomic Robo is ten times up on the Atomic Knight! Whereas, Robo Force 2.0 (led by the Vision) has only appeared twice.
As RT, himself, might say: "That puts a different spin on the topic."
