Tarzan and The Phantom first met on this blog back in 2012, on a very early MS Paint cover... I figured it was high time that I put them together again - especially if it means that I get to combine my two favorite comic book artists - Jim Aparo and Joe Kubert.
The Kings of their respective Jungles vs. the Forward-facing Gun Guy. Will the FGG never learn? Great pairing, Ross! In terms of both the characters and artists.

Delete@Ross: providing you have enough image captures of both, to work with, would you be able to depict a team-up between the Defenders of Earth (Mandrake, the Phantom, and Flash Gordon) and Zen the Intergalactic Ninja? After all, given the space opera angle and the similarity in coloration between the Phantom's costume and Zen's epidermis, it seems like a natural for depiction!
