Toy Story 5 seems like another huge hit for the franchise, both critically and commercially. I'm looking forward to checking out the next adventure of Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang. This cover comes about from a suggestion by Marc Tyler Nobleman, comics' historian and Patron of this Blog. Thanks, Marc!

Was hoping it was winslow schott:)
@Anon822: The only animated version of him that I know of (that could be comfortably blended in with these Disney images) would have to be harvested from excerpts of the 1966 Superman series done by Filmation. And I honestly don't recall any of those episodes featuring him in some kind of customized aircraft. Only the Legion Of Doom's Toyman (Jack B. Nimble from Hanna-Barbera, mid-1970's) fits that description.
@Ross: I saw Toy Story 5 about ten days ago. It was better than I expected! Twice as good as Supergirl and Masters Of The Universe (The Needless Remake), put together. Those two have proven to be lacklusters rather than blockbusters. At least as far as I'm permanently concerned.
@Marc Nobleman: thank you for suggesting this, sir. :-)
Me too...
It's a pity Toys (1992, with Robin Williams and LL Cool J) didn't do better. I would've loved to see Leslie Zevo (Williams) doing something with the Toy Story characters.
I'd also love to have a smoking jacket like the one that cameos in the movie.
"You ain't never had threads like these."
R. I. P. Supergirl (2026).
😩
Toy story made a great universe...when Krypto is Supergirl's dog, things are messed up! Ross:2, DC:1.
Well, at least the rise and tragic fall of Argo City was comic-book faithful. Talk about a minor miracle!
Has Toy Story ever had a crossover with Small Soldiers?
Here, in the Rossverse? Not yet.
Buzz Lightyear is the only Toy Story character that's appeared here more than once. Woody's making his official STF debut with this cover-sim. Which, in turn, puts him one-up on all the protagonists and antagonists from "Small Soldiers."
Since Woody is making his debut here, maybe we could have a future team-up between him a Yosemite Sam.
That sounds like fun! And I have just the antagonists. Some of Dr. Gru's Minions now working for...
WILE E. COYOTE (SUPER-GENIUS)!
If nothing else, Acme's best customer would finally have a two-appearance credit in parentheses. In addition to Sam making his debut!
