Beta Ray Bill and Luke Skywalker

In a battle between Uru Hammer and Lightsaber, who do you think has the advantage?  It would be a cool confrontation so see play out, especially if an artist as dynamic as Walt Simonson were to illustrate it.

If Asgardian uru metal is anything like cortosis ore from Star Wars Legends continuity or phrik alloy in the New Canon, then Luke and his lightsaber are in big trouble.

Come to think of it. If Crusher Creel absorbs the properties of Beta Ray Bill's mallet (after taking on Wonder Woman's lasso's properties), then it's Lando, Norrin, and Tomar-Re (back @ Thursday's cover) who are in trouble!

When I saw Tomar-Re recently, I though of teaming him with Beta Ray Bill. After all, both are animalish characters who wear the costume and sport the gear of human characters.

That one is on the blog: https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2014/03/tomar-re-and-beta-ray-bill.html

I'd go so far as to call this a Part Two to Thursday's cover. Part Three could bring us "The Green Lantern Corps + 4 Famous Co-Stars" (Luke, Lando, Bill, and Norrin) preparing to battle the Death Star.

Or, possibly, the War Doctor vs. Darth Vader.

After 15 years, four Thor and three GotG movies, I still can't believe we haven't seen a live action Bill on screen.

That might be a blessing in disguise, considering that sci-fi/fantasy swashbucklers like MOTU'26 and TM&G are reportedly not doing well at the box office, at all.

Or, better yet, Darth Vader vs. Dr. Doom! Because I initially thought that was the particular Victor that Luke was referring to. Which would make this a great part three to STF #1009 (@1/17/2015) and STF #2490 (@2/6/2019)!

I must admit I haven't stayed current with all the Star Wars comics/films/series since the 80s. Who is Victor & why is he leading an armada? I doubt the saber can withstand the hammer.

I, too, thought it was referring to Dr. Doom.
