It looks like she's absorbing from some version of the main battery on Oa, which I think would give her a massive, if uncomfortable, power boost. I don't think she'd want to try it again unless it was to face off against Mr. Universe.
But say... didn't I also postulate that yesterday's cover was related to Mr. Universe? They could both be preludes to a future adventure, possibly also featuring Iron Beetle....
