For the final part of this Three-Part Epic, we learn who has been behind the Gotham Incident all along. I did see at least one correct guess in the comments! I'm very interested to see what the upcoming Clayface movie will look like. It is supposed to be a lower budget affair, but I hope that the special effects needed to bring the villain to life are not skimped on.

Well, looks like Anon619@Jan. 11 was right. Clayface was the Catwoman poser! But, it still makes sense that Rom's instruments would still register the presence of a Dire Wraith in Gotham City. After all, the exact origin of the radioactive protoplasm that turned Silver Age Matt Hagen into Clayface was never fully explained!
So, for the purposes of your trilogy, Ross, I'm willing to speculate that Hagen could've encountered the semi-liquefied remains of a Dire Wraith scout while treasure hunting.
Ah, having your own E. Nelson Bridwell being able to do research at the drop of a question!! not common to have. And a great acting performance from Clayface who could always give himself an oscar or emmy anytime he wants to.
I could never have made the correct guess in the first place, had I not been following this blog for so many years. All I had to do was close my eyes, and think: "Now what would Ross do, in a situation like this...?" ;)
He could _turn into_ an Emmy or Oscar any time he wanted to!
P.S.---Would Clayface burn at the Man-Thing's touch?*
*Hint-hint! ;-)
He could turn part of himself into an award so he could appreciate it from a distance.
You mean, like a Marvel no-prize?
