A new Swamp Thing movie has been discussed but can't seen to get off the ground. Director James Mangold has expressed interest in directing, which is an encouraging sign. Hopefully any delays and setbacks are due to a desire to get a script and direction for the property just right.

Why not pick up where the tv show left off?

looks like Swamp Thing is giving Tigra some port in a storm she has had. Should be interesting.
@Ross: believe it only when you finally see official trailers for it. And, even then, don't expect everything you see in the trailers to make it to the final print of the film.
Because having--and implementing--a sensible idea like that is apparently against the law in Hollywood.
Maybe that's it. Tigra and Storm have had an unrequited lovers' spat!*
*Hey! If Marvel could ret-con Iceman that way, it could happen with equal likelihood to any of the X-women.
Nice work! But what's next? Buffy and Charmed?
Why not? It's unbelievable CW never had an official crossover between those two shows when they were both on the same network. Especially when David E. Kelly managed a similar crossover between his two biggest legal dramas on two different networks!
If that stray cat followed me</i< home I'd want to keep it. ;)
It's nice of Alec to give Tigra a nice, cozy place to curl up for the night. Hopefully, after a good rest and with a little emotional support, she'll be ready to face whatever sent her into the swamp. After she shreds some Un-Men, of course.
If this occurred right after her humiliating first encounter with Parker "The Hood" Robbins, Swampie might agree to help her obtain satisfaction. Like, say, by creating a catnip version of the Super-Soldier Serum to better beat down on that sob?
