Spider-Man and Karate Kid

Avengers: Doomsday is about to begin filming, and I wonder what Spider-Man's role in it will be.  I am sure Marvel will want to include him, but his new status quo after No Way Home means that all of his ties to Earth's Mightiest Heroes are gone.  How will a loner like him fit in with the rest of the action?

Well, in answer to your second question, my first wild guess (based on the subtitle) would be that he reluctantly has to seek help from Latveria's resident hybrid of Reed Richards and Donald Trump! Thereby, perhaps, also putting a foot in the backdoor for the whole FF to finally enter the MCU!*

As to the titular question: I'll say that this particular master of disaster is being mind-controlled by the Puppet Master on behalf of the "Mad" Thinker. Perhaps as an elaborate ploy to steal (and ultimately reverse-engineer) some of Karate Kid's 31st century tech without getting caught!

*My second wild guess is that the subtitle refers to his somehow going to the DCEU and reluctantly accepting the help of an extra-terrestrial version of the Hulk.

Spidy's not part of the Movie Avengers now? Rad. Karate Kid is not just another Iron Fist, or is he? Are the comics still losing readers now?
What's it like in your part of the country for comic stores?

From what I've read, Spidey may not have much to do in Doomsday, but he -- and possibly his two counterparts -- may have a key role in Secret Wars.
