The Champions and The Ray

the MCU is supposedly going to concentrate more on the "big gun" heroes and teams for a while going forward, so I guess I won't be holding my breath for a Champions movie announcement any time soon.  It's too bad, they finally have the rights to all the characters!

That's probably for the best, Ross. Hercules still has to make his solo debut as Thor's opponent! Once that Freudian slug-fest is over with, I'm sure Marvel Films will ultimately fulfill your (and every other like-minded fan's) request.

Oooooh! Ray and the Champs vs. MODOK? Excellent! Provocatively titled, too. Makes me wonder if the erstwhile George Tarleton is trying to mind-control a certain Hulk-like alien?

Even if Marvel was still going with the two-tiered approach of Phase 4, I don't think I'd look for a Champions grouping until at least Phase 9 -- at least, not with any X-characters on the roster.

But I'm still annoyed at HERO Games for letting their Champions trademark lapse -- and I'd still love to see one of their Champions teams working with this one.

And... has Batman ever gone head-to-head against MODOK? I think it would be an interesting challenge for him.

I'd love to see MODOK go heat-to-head with Hector Hammond.

;-D

Oops! That should've read "...head-to-head".

Just goes to show how important it is to keep your head in the game!

I would rather see Marvel do a proper Defenders with Hulk, Namor, Silver Surfer, and Dr Strange.

DC & MARVEL may have a bit of a problem. If the box offices don't get better, movies may slow down. Paramount went from movie to tv series for Starfleet Academy. Superman & the F.F. ...have to double the cost of the movie for it to be a success. Superman may have barely made it world wide.

Given how Star Trek TV spin-offs have gradually reduced from seven year-runs to five to a mere two (in the case of ST: Prodigy), I don't hold out any hope for a live-action, made-for-streaming superhero series having any greater duration.

Strange New World is still going... ironic based on the original series..lot past two years happy to add!!!

Loved the Champions growing! I got each issue (starting with #2) the day they came out and every cameo/guest-starring I came across (with Godzilla being one of my favorite). I'd love to see them on the big screen, mostly if based on the 70s looks/personalities/roll-call. Ironically, we now have had everyone (even Bill Foster) have live action appearances (except the Russian; Darkstar?). But I'd also like to see the ttrpg Champions get some live action too, finally. I dont hold my breath for either, though.

Stranger Things have happened. ;-)

Then, in that regard, my namesake, you maybe a tad wiser than Tobor.

Actually, ST:STW is going off after Season 5, as well.

Especially when someone like Kraven the Hunter might be looking to stuff and mount it on his wall.
