It's too bad that Marvel has pivoted away from Kang in the movies. Sure, he was beaten by ants, undermining his villainous stature, but an Avengers: Kang Dynasty movie could have offered up some fun time travel scenarios. Imagine Spider-Man in the Time of Devil Dinosaur, Hawkeye teaming up with Two-Gun Kid, or Hulk meeting his future self, The Maestro. Oh well, maybe we will get another chance after Secret Wars reboots everything!

It wouldn't be impossible for Marvel Studios to pivot and bring Kang back, possibly in the form of Jon Boyega. The next "Saga" is expected to be The Mutant Saga, but if things do continue long enough the one after that could be The Time Saga, maybe even with a build-up during Phase Nine.
Kang could be rebooted through his earlier counterpart, Pharaoh Rama-Tut. Maybe even played by Arnold Vosloo !
As for today's cover-sim; Doom Patrol? Twice in as many weeks?! Awesome! :-)
I wonder how Devil Dinosaur and Moonboy would do against the Warlord? You know; the old mistaken identity slugfest.

I've been trying to think of what would be the widest temporal gap possible to visit. The best I can think of would be Conan vs. Abra Kadabra.
This is the type of team-up that I can easily see. Devil Dinosaur would fit in well with a Doom Patrol adventure.
Did Disney do any better with Devil Dinosaur and Moon Girl?? Some writers may have less imagination to be creative with.
