It's only fitting that these kids cross paths with comicdom's first sidekick. I'm still waiting to hear details on the planned Batman: The Brave and the Bold movie, and whether Dick Grayson will plar a role, as Damian is the rumored Robin of that story.

Frankly, I'll be happy if they just maintain the Nightwing part of his backstory. I still (unpleasantly) remember the ending of "The Dark Knight Rises" when they (needlessly) changed orphaned circus performer Dick Grayon into Officer Robin Blake, GCPD (shudder)!
As for this story, though? I'd plop down sixty cents in the proverbial heartbeat for this issue at a real-world comic store! I remember faithfully buying Volume 1 of Power Pack when Marvel first started publishing it because it was so refreshing. Not because it was different, mind you! More like, it was a brilliant blend of much older tropes. Sort of Silver Age Teen Titans meets Rich Rider's origin as Nova.
Unfortunately, Marvel discontinued the comic just as it was starting to get interesting. For example; the eldest Power brother entering high school as a freshman...and discovering pretty girl cheerleaders.
Here, I would speculate that Dick is investigating some long-lost cousins on his biological mother's side. Again, thanks to the Silver Age, we (sort of) know that Dick's mother's maiden name was Mary Cooper. But, Marvel never canonically revealed Mrs. Powers' pre-marital surname! In short? You, Ross, have a big chance for planting another interesting family tree in this imaginatively fertile universe.
:-)
Where did you get that Robin image ? That's giving me Death of Gwen Stacy Vibes !!
Unfortunately, DC's "Rebirth" has ret-conned Mary Grayson's maiden name to "Lloyd"! So, if Dick's Aunt Harriet is surnamed "Cooper," then she must be a widow. But, here, in the Ross-verse, that can still be worked around. Mrs. Power could be simply be Harriet's estranged daughter!
I think it's an inverse of STF #789 (from 6/11/2014).
Carycomic, nice. Brave & Bold.., Bruce with Dick, Jason, Tim & Damion, not counting Kelli, 2 more and a six pack to go. Power Pack was reformed when their powers were swapped. Possibilities!!
Ross could arrange the genealogy this way. Harriet Grayson married Roy Craig Cooper and they became the parents of a daughter they named Margaret. Something happened that led them to getting divorced and to Margaret and Harriet becoming bitterly estranged. At least, to the point where Roy got sole custody of their daughter and legally changed the family name to "Craig"!
So, Margaret's Cousin Richard now wants to find out what that something was.
Maybe it involved the death of Margaret's brother; Spider-Ben Cooper.
According o the Batman '66/Archie crossover, Harriet is also an aunt of Betty Cooper...
Oh, yeah! I forgot that one. Then, disregard what I said before. Harriet Cooper and Margaret Power are more likely estranged because Harrier disapproves of her niece Betty taking up with a mutant (@ STF #4850 from July 24).
