He's back and badder than ever! That's right - Earth STF's greatest menace, Mr. Universe, returns for his 11th appearance to vex a couple of young heroes. Let's hope that they have better luck than the rest in putting this guy away for good!

Only if they merge to become...CAPTAIN ROSS-VERSE!
Add Iron Beetle and the Green Devil (from STF #2461) to that mix and you'd have the making of a new super group. The Amalga-Mates!
Didn't Arnold once hold the title of "Mister Universe"? If so........
Throw in Judge Dreddpool (the Magistrate With A Mouth) and you've got a deal.
Are we talking cosmic ray mutation (a la the FF) or genetic acceleration (a la the New Men of Wundagore)?
Considering who he has already gone against, not much chance...but Doc Manhattan and Dr Strange...maybe.
That would certainly make a worthy sequel to STF #2353 from 2018.
@Anon1020: it might even explain where Mr. Universe came from prior to STF #3885! :-)
I could settle for this Mr. Universe being a cosmically enhanced Conan (a la Korvac).
P.S. @ Tobor: you're a genius. :-)
Cary, I think it goes without saying that I'd *love* to see more of Iron Beetle and Green Devil, and a cover with those two against Mr. Universe would be just the thing for it.
And yes, Access might even come along to add to their roster. The Nova Corps might even recruit a Kryptonian to join their ranks as... Supernova!
As for Nova and Stargirl, I think they'll have a hard time overcoming this guy. At best, with some clever maneuvering, they'll be able to redirect his plans to minimize damage, and then notify the big guns (JLA, Avengers, Imperial Guard, etc.).
PS: It occurs to me that we might get some interesting results if Crazy Jane were to pull babysitting duty for Jack-Jack Parr.
@Bob Greenwade: the Harley Quinn of Darkseid's Female Furies? That's brilliant! I could just picture her trying to kidnap the litte super-tyke for Granny Goodness! :-)
Looking at all the Mr. Universe covers so far, I get the feeling that his power level fluctuates a lot. I suspect there may be some sort of clue in there as to his true nature, and ultimate plans. Maybe he absorbs cosmic energy, and needs some sort of power source to reach his highest power levels? Maybe his previous battles have temporarily depleted his energy?
@Anon8PM: Sorry, dude! That's Mad Harriet you're thinking of.
Right. Crazy Jane is the Doom Patrol member with multiple personalities, each with its own powers.
Carycomic: Shipping in the docs! ?
Alaric is 100% correct!
To go against G.L., She-Hulk, & Power Girl could use a LOT of power. So he isn't like Parasite to absorb their own energies. That's why G.L. & Black Bolt 'fed' him
to avert a bigger catastrophe?! G.L.'s ring couldn't handle the power load of the problem of the hour? Oh, Boy!
Thanks for the tip Ross!!
Precisely. Because if Ross, Alaric, and Anon1020 are correct in their theory, then Dr. Strange might've been holding an energy-depleted Mr. Universe captive in his Sanctum Sanctorum (@ STF #2353).*
*Well, considering how unbelievably generous Doc can be with his hospitality, probably not so much a captive as a semi-reluctantly accepted house guest.
P.S.---I was initially joking in response to Emsley Wyatt's half-serious joke. But, after reading the above theory, that makes me wonder. Why _couldn't_ Mr. Universe date all the way back to the Hyborian Age (at least, in the Ross-verse)? If nothing else, it would nicely tie in STF #4821 with STF #'s 455-57!
In that case, that might make her the perfect boyfriend for Xavier's son, David "Legion" Haller.
