These two first battled in STF #4761, in a more Silver-Age style cover. I thought that round two could have more of a Bronze Age feel. Another month or so and we will finally get to see Rex Mason in live screen action!

Whoa! That's a battle royale!
Of all the characters, I'm most excited to see Metamorpho in live action! I first "met" him as one of The Outsiders.
Wow. Superb cover. Excellent job.
If Super-Skrull should go zero-for-two, with this encounter, would the rest of the Totalitarians try to avenge his defeat? Or would they laughingly kick him out of the group?
More likely the latter. They don't strike me as that unified, even for a Ross-verse group. I mean, look how the rest of them still seem to be convalescing from their clash with One-Punch Man (back @ STF #4590)!
Could Rex come up with a combo blow that Super Skrull couldn't shake off? If Rex has learned about other world minerals, maybe.
If Rex CAN do offworld minerals, I wonder whether that would include Kryptonite?
How about thing and meramorpho vs Mr fantastic, and are angry at Reed for not curing them.
I think Rex is lucky Super Skull does not have Reed's mind and Sue's experience with her powers.
Exacerbated* by the Hate-monger, of course!
*Always wanted to use that word---Carycomic
Rex can only deal with elements in a human body but in DC Film Universe we never can be sure.
DC seems to have been undecided, over the decades, about whether Kryptonite is an element or a compound. I suspect that writers lacking in scientific education were to blame...
Unless, of course, fellow Totalitarian the Mimic feeds him that info using Xavier's telepathy!
