Well, it appears my long-winded guess from 5/13/25 was half-right. Moon Knight was probably searching for Hawk and Dove, who'd probably been abducted by Intergang (using Solomon Grundy) on behalf of Granny Goodness, who then brainwashed them into going after MK for helping the Inhumans defend their lunar home from Darkseid!

Hawk would meet Moon Knight with the same brutality Moon Knight gives out but only during his solo period after his brother Dove was killed in Crisis because during that time he had no one to reign him in. Otherwise Moon Knight would wipe the floor with him.
In other words, Hawk wouldn't stand a "Spector" of a chance?
I think Moonie would get a Hall Pass for a menace they would need to team for.
I have a feeling MK's about to celebrate Christmas as he decks the Halls.
