The latest rumors making the rounds say that Adam Strange is coming to the DCU, with Will Poulter being considered for the role. I've long thought that The Character was ripe for live action treatment, so I hope these reports are true. The Krypton tv series featured Adam Strange as a character, but I'd like to see a version more faithful to the comics.

Adam Strange needs to updated his uniform with sleeves for outer space work. Hopefully Hawman shared his Thanagarian treatment.
Regarding movie adaptations even best do the WTF? things like Superman throwing Superman shield.
Det_Tobor says: Will magic keep Wolfy breathing without a helmet ..or underwater? Adam has been lucky he has been dumb down in Krypton and an animated series a few years ago. The writers have to be smart like him as well. Good luck with that.
@me: that was probably a visual glitch by the cover artist for the original Adam Strange adventure. In the actual stories, themselves, he _always_ had long sleeves!
@Ross: the Adam Strange from KRYPTON THE SERIES was a character, alright. But, not in a good way. Nor even a comically relieving way! Thank Rao, the series was cancelled after Season 1-and-only.
@Anonymous: given that Man-Wolf was known as Stargod, in that space gem's native dimension, his being able to breathe unaided in total vacuum makes perfect in-story sense.
and of course, as soon as Adam saves Jameson, the beam hits him and sends him away.
It might even take both of them away! Just not necessarily to Rann. For instance, maybe the Moonstone's energies misdirect the zeta beam to the Moons of Munnopor (so often referenced by Adam's brother)?
