Jonah Hex and Data
Who knows how the Chief Operations Officer of The Enterprise found his way to the old West, or how Hex will react in the next few seconds. It would be fun to find out, though, and fun to see these two interact.

How about Stalker from the Jumanji cartoon and Venger from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon.
That posse will be stunned, then freak out when they see Data just hanging there, very much alive. The bullets will start flying right after that. If Data is lucky, maybe Hex will shoot the rope to cut him loose.
This is either another wayward holographic scenario about the Old West (a la "A Fistful of Datas"). Or Data's been diverted, by Per Degaton, to the same post-WWIII era that Jonah Hex once wound up in. I think the second one is more likely. His way, perhaps, of preventing the Robo Force from interfering with Ultron @ STF #4767.
I had the same thought as Ken, about the prospect of hanging Data. Unlike Anon@10:18, though, I'm more apt to blame the Time Trapper for Data's presence -- though it could be Q.
There could be a clue, however, in the anachronistic restraints on Data's hands. I know the real-world answer is that they're part of Data's original image, but the in-universe answer would hint at some future participant leading the posse, most likely unrelated to whomever time-slipped Data.
Would they be rivals?
I have often Venger clashing or teaming up with Mumm-Ra from the Thundercats or with Skeletor from He-Man.
Not sure, but I wouldn't think bullets would bother Data much either except top cause cosmetic damage. Lik e Arnold in T2: Judgment Day during the scene where the cops are shooting him up and only revealing that he isn't really human. Could be wrong though; Star Trek never really made his durability all that clear imo.
Perhaps a side adventure from the time he met Mark Twain.
@Bob & Emsley: based on the shape of those manacles, I'll guess it's Prince Hans of the Southern Isles manipulated into working for "Bowler Hat Guy" Yagoobian (discourtesy of that mind-controlling robot derby).
@Cary, Emsley, and Bob: Given that Yagoobian's derby is robotic, I'm willing to bet that it was remotely reprogrammed by Ultron back @ STF #4767. Again; just to prevent interference by the Robo Force Data leads!
Something tells me Stalker would not like Venger horning in on his big game.
P.S.----I went to see "Thunderbolts" this past weekend. B+ on its own merits. But, a definite A-- with regard to trailers for the new Superman flick that introduces Krypto...and the 4th FF flick!
Thanks! Good to know.
Maybe second part can have Samuel Clemens come involved. Data met on Star Trek TNG in same time period of Hex.
aka Samuel Clemens. I agree.
By the way; it just occurred to me that this could just as easily be the home world of the Landru computer just before it was visited by the USS Archon! After all; the sets for that TOS episode greatly resembled 19th century (antebellum) St. Louis.
A team-up I never would have imagined, but now I’m intrigued!! I want to see this!!
@Carycomic: it could just as easily be Rain, New Hampshire. The private community that was built by the "Mad" Thinker for LMD's of the greatest intellectuals of Earth's history?
@Anon321; I believe you mean Ponder, New Hampshire. Rain is where Andrew Paunchalito moved to after retiring from THE DAILY BUGLE!
Oh! Right.
Hex must be wondering who this pale varmint is, and what he can do about it. "You from a circus or somethin'?" Like Tasha Yar once said, Data is sturdy, but he's not indestructible. I don't mean to be morbid, but a well aimed shot from an old-fashioned pistol might still be able to shatter his positronic brain. And if he has some sort of a central power core, that could be taken out too.
Maybe Hex will shoot the rope to cut Data loose, the way Clint Eastwood did in the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Then Data can be-Pale Rider. Goodnight everybody!
I'd love to see Hex team up with Sherlock Holmes, but this is close enough XD
Congratulations for knowing Mark Twain's real name. Do you want a cookie or something? 🙄
If he doesn't want it, I'll take it!
GOOD ONE! You deserve _two_ cookies. :-)
Data: Are you satisfied with the efforts you have used? Data just hanging there. They panic and RUN!! Data breaks the chains and dodads around him. Hex goes Nope, not this time. Bye!
"Excuse me, my hands appear to be locked in these receptacles. Any assistance in freeing them would be greatly appreciated."
Lol! Good one! :-)
You really need to watch DS9 & Voyager so that you can give TOS AND TNG a break on this blog.
@Anon712: I think you stand a better chance of seeing Ross depicting 007 in the form of George Lazenby.
